Zagreb, Croatia, October 21, 2019 — Repêchage® CEO and Founder Lydia Sarfati hosted a brand launch event to beauty professionals at the Esplanade Zagreb Hotel in Croatia alongside Manuela Picard, the exclusive distributor of Repêchage® in Croatia and Slovenia. Repechage® Professional Skin Care will now officially be available in 50 countries as the seaweed-based skin care company prepares to celebrate their 40th anniversary in 2020.
U.S. ambassador to Croatia, W. Robert Kohorst, was present to introduce Sarfati as she shared the history of Repêchage® and her success story as a Polish-born beauty professional who emigrated to the U.S. in 1970.
From her struggles to get a U.S. Cosmetology license, to working late nights and long hours as a working mother, entrepreneur and esthetician in NYC, Sarfati’s passion and drive for esthetics led her to launch the first professional, seaweed-based skin care company in 1980.
In addition to sharing her story, Sarfati introduced attendees to signature Repêchage® products and treatments, as well as the new Repêchage® Vita Cura® Gold Collection, launched in the U.S. in May 2019.
