October 24, 2014 – New York, NY – In celebration of the United Nation’s 69th Anniversary and United Nations Day, United Nations Messenger of Peace, Lang Lang, hosted the Lang Lang International Music Foundation’s Annual Gala at the U.N.Headquarters. Repêchage Professional Skin Care was there to support this honorable foundation, and was a sponsor for this year’s event.
The Foundation’s Annual Gala was organized to raise funds for the charitable organization. This concert event was led by an international youth orchestra, with children from over 20 countries. Alec Baldwin served as host, and a special guest performance from Sting was also part of the entertainment provided for the 3000 attendees. Notable attendees of the event included Angela Basset, Mrs. Edgar Bronfman, Rocky Carroll, Natalie Cole, Matt Dusk, Renée Fleming, Manuel Lopez Gomez, Gary Graffman, Herbie Hancock, LL Cool J, Wynton Marsalis, Sir Roger Moore, and LaTanya Richardson-Jackson. Event attendees were treated to fantastic entertainment for a worthy cause, followed by a gala dinner, and walked away with some new beauty products from Repêchage – Repêchage Algo Mist Hydrating Seaweed Facial Spray, Repêchage C-Serum Seaweed Filtrate, and Repêchage Sea Spa Hand Cream.

Lang Lang, world renowned pianist and creative genius behind the Lang Lang International Music Foundation, started the organization in 2008. He has always been passionate about doing his part to further music education, but developing the foundation has allowed his passion to blossom to the next level by creating sustainable, impactful, and unique charitable activities, as well as establish partnerships with dedicated organizations.
