Repêchage Professional Skin Care, Front and Center at IECSC New York!
March 8-10, 2015, Jacob Javits Convention Center, NYC – Repêchage Professional Skin Care gathered for another year of spa and beauty at the International Esthetics, Cosmetics, & Spa Conference in New York City!
At this year’s show, beauty professionals were able to witness and experience the brand new! Repêchage SeaSmooth Artisan Seaweed Wax, which has just been awarded Best Wax of New York at Eva Scrivo Salon by New York Magazine.
Repêchage has been using seaweed as its number one ingredient in all skin care, body care, and cosmetics products for over 40 years, but IECSC attendees were able to witness and experience the power of seaweed in waxing treatments first hand. Lucky attendees stepped upon on stage to experience the SeaSmooth Artisan Seaweed Wax, which is infused with select seaweeds, Safflower Oil, Zinc Oxide, and Titanium Dioxide – a formula that allows for less irritation, redness, and bumps. Streeter demonstrated how waxing can be relaxing, performing the full Repêchage SeaSmooth Artisan Seaweed Wax Experience on stage. This new wax ritual starts with a dry brush exfoliation to prevent ingrown hairs and remove dead skin cells, is followed by hair removal with the Repêchage SeaSmooth Artisan Seaweed Wax, and a soothing massage with Repêchage Skin Relief Soothing Gel and Repêchage Vita Cura Triple Action Nutrí Oil. During this treatment the client is treated to a hydrating and soothing Repêchage Lamina Lift™ Mask.
Of course, show attendees wanted the chance to experience the power of seaweed in professional facial treatments as well! Attendees gathered on stage at the Repêchage Facial Bar to experience both clinical and express treatments including the Repêchage Seaweed Mask, Repêchage Hydra Dew Express Lift Moisture Mask, Repêchage Four Layer Facial, and Repêchage Vita Cura 5 Phase Firming Facial.
Along with sharing her bountiful beauty knowledge at the Repêchage Booth, Repêchage CEO & Founder, Lydia Sarfati, hosted two CIDESCO educational classes. As Honorary Chairman of CIDESCO USA, Sarfati taught “Classic European Facial Massage” helping estheticians improve their understanding of the function of the muscles, lymph and circulatory systems, in order to provide maximum benefits to their clients. Sarfati also taught “What Every Esthetician Should Know About Treating Acne & Problem Skin Types” delving into the factors that influence acne and breakout-prone skin, and how estheticians can effectively diagnose and treat different types of acne and problem skin.
Her professional expertise for these topics was in high demand as both classes were sold out!
