Sarfati, who serves as Chairman of CIDESCO Section USA, hosted two CIDESCO classes for show attendees to take part in. In her first class, “Aging Skin: Preventative Treatments & Solutions” Sarfati lectured about different factors that contribute to the signs of aging, such as genetics and environmental exposure. Sarfati also discussed treatments and ingredients to help diminish the appearance of aging on the skin, and performed a demonstration for attendees. For her second class, “The Ayurveda Way: Customized Face Massage” Sarfati discussed the foundation of Ayurvedic beliefs and how to apply these learned concepts in creating the best client experience. This class helped professionals understand the functions of the muscles, the lymph, circulatory and immune systems and different facial massage techniques for different skin types. This lecture also included a short demonstration of proper facial massage techniques.
