Dear Lucecita,

It sounds as though your skin is suffering from dehydration along with the natural signs of aging. What most people don’t realize is that dehydration can accelerate the aging process. I recommend using the entire Repêchage Vita Cura Anti-Aging Program for your skin type. This collection is going to provide you with hydration and also help address the signs of aging that you are noticing. This collection is formulated with our patented anti-aging ingredients and exclusive seaweed, each of the active ingredients has the power to stimulate what young skin does naturally. Biomimetic Messenger Pentapeptide helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and improve skin's firmness and Marine Biopeptide helps increase elasticity. Use Repêchage Vita Cura Triple Action Cleansing Cream and Repêchage Vita Cura Renewal Toner with Salicylic Acid twice daily and follow with the Repêchage Vita Cura Cell Renewal Serum. For your daily and nightly moisturizer, use the Repêchage Vita Cura Triple Firming Cream. Apply in upward, circular movements paying special attention to your areas of concern such as the marionettes you mentioned. If you are also experiencing sagging or fine lines around the eye area, the Vita Cura Opti-Lift Serum is a great instant lift! Just dab around the eye area (don’t rub) and allow for it to fully absorb. You will see instant results and also long term benefits.

Since you love makeup, you should try the Repêchage Perfect Skin Liquid Foundation SPF 12! Our seaweed based formula provides you with SPF protection while also providing further anti-aging benefits!

I hope I was able to answer all of your questions, thank you for writing!

Can and how do I incorporate the desincrustion solution with the deep pore cleansing facial on page 9 in your protocol book?
May. 18, 2011 by Dorothy Oclaire, IL
Dear Dorothy,
You are referring to the Repechage 10-step Four Layer Facial. After removing exfoliant (either Honey & Almond Scrub, Hydra Refine 1 Minute Clarifying Mask or Rapidex) apply cotton saturated with desincrustation solution to areas of concern, such as pustules or comedones, and continue to steam for an additional 3-5 minutes. Desincrustation Solution will help soften debris around plugged follicle and help ease the extraction process. Good luck and thank you for choosing Repechage! Best, Lydia

Can you use Rapidex instead of scrub in the Four Layer Facial for exfoliation.
Apr. 1, 2011
Dear Loretta,
Absolutely! Rapidex® is suitable for all skin types except chemically damaged and sunburned skin. Be sure to do a consultation and skin analysis with your client so you may choose the right type of exfoliation prior to the Four Layer Facial. Good luck!

Dear Lydia, Please recommend what product I should use. I am 30 years old. I am not sure what is my skin type. Some doctor told me that it was combination skin. Some doctor told it was sensitive skin with large pores at T-zone. Some doctor told it was oily skin with less moisture that caused it not only oily but also dry. (I think he meant combination skin.) Anyway, I can tell that my skin is sensitive to perfume and also have acne problem. I always have cystic acne. (I understand that cystic acne is as same as an extreme large pimple. Please tell me if I get it wrong.) Thank you very much in advance.
Dec. 1, 2011 by Kanokwan Hanidhikul, Oregon
Dear Kanokwan,

Thank you for writing! The best way to determine your skin type is by going to www.repechage.com, click "locate a spa" and find a Repechage Spa de Beaute near you. A licensed esthetician in your area can thoroughly examine your skin and prescribe the skin care regime that is right for you. Judging by your description however, it sounds like you have a combination of issues to address.

If you are experiencing breakouts, you are probably using a harsh product on your skin that is actually causing more sensitivity and dehydration such as Benzoyl Peroxide or Glycolic Acid.

Cystic Acne is different from a large pimple and can only be treated by a medical doctor. Please do not try to extract these yourself as you can damage the follicle wall and spread the infection further.

I recommend you use the entire Repechage Hydra Medic Collection which can be used on your face and body. To address the dehydration you are experiencing use the Repechage C-Serum, which is like a multivitamin for the skin, twice daily. For dark spots you may have from old acne lesions, I suggest trying the Repechage Biolight Miracle Mask.

I hope that this information helps and I look forward to hearing how your skin looks!

Sincerely,

Lydia Sarfati

Dear Mrs. Sarfati, 1st, I'm new to the skin business and chose your product line to use in my business. I really researched several products and decided your products met all of my needs.2nd- I am starting to acquire several teenage clients with severe acne. I have been using the Hydra Medic line on them, encourage them to buy the products for at use in their home. Two of the the boys have severe acne/pustules, whiteheads, blackheads. One of the clients comes in weekly, the other bi-weekly. I told them that it would be several weeks before they see a difference. Is there something special I should be doing? Any encouraging words to these young men? I have ordered DVD's to start your post graduate program. I am looking forward to taking some classes at the Hair Show coming to Vegas in the Spring. Thank you for your help. Linda Viera
Jan. 31, 2011 by Linda Viera, NV
Dear Linda,
I always say "I'm an esthetician, not a magician!" They did not get acne overnight and it won't go away overnight. But with continued professional treatments and an at-home care program, they will see results. Also, in your consultation with them, make sure that after sports or physical activity, that they wash their face with Hydra Medic Face Wash and follow with the Astringent. Also, be sure they are not drying their face at home with a dirty wash cloth. Also, if they wear baseball caps and tend to be breaking out around the hair line, swipe caps with a disinfectant. All of these could contribute to their breakouts. I look forward to seeing you in Vegas and Good Luck!

Dear Mrs. Sarfati; First I would like to thank you for your teachings. Secondly, as part of our studies, we where discussing in class, knew concepts and one that caught my attention was the facial bar. I am almost done with my studies and I am really interested in bringing this concept to PR. Could you send more info about this? Can you help me with opening the first facial bar in PR? You can e-mail me or call (787)944-5069. It would be a through honor to speak to you. Thank You Annette M. Solla, BS, MBA

Good morning Lydia, My name is Gregg Gonzales, and I am the owner of escapar massage in Denver, Colorado and my wife and I are in the process of expanding our massage studio into a full size spa. We are looking to incorporate unique and non-traditional spa services in our location (hopefully, soon to be LOCATIONS!) and were drawn to your Facial Bar concept. We LOVE the simplicity of your services and feel they would incorporate perfectly with our focus on massage. We are currently scouting locations to expand into as well as finalizing our business plan and initially had ZERO intention of adding any facial services to our menu. I've been in the spa industry for over twelve years, with most of that time managing and opening corporate spas with full size esthetics departments and let me tell you, I've had my fill! However, your menu selections match beautifully with our focus on massage with each guest having the option of a quick and easy cleansing or nurturing facial followed by a make-up application. I would love to speak with you more about your vision for your company as well as discussing ours and how we may look to meld both together! I look forward to hearing from you and again, LOVE THE CONCEPT OF THE FACIAL BAR!!! :)

I look forward to working with you on your new project.

Good morning. My friend from Austria asks if you have learning DVD about face massage. Please let me know. Thank you, Diana Borts

Hello Diana, yes we do have face massage dvd's. What exactly are you looking for? Have you seen our YouTube page at http://www.youtube.com/user/RepechageSkinCare

Hello Lydia, I am from Vermont, and I am a cosmetologist. About 3 to 4 years ago I went to a class of yours and you were introducing the Hydra Medic line. I really love the products that you have out there and I love using them on other people I was wondering How natural are your products, because I find a lot of people I do facials on they don't follow threw with the product line that we carry ( bioelements) they go to the nearest health food store and by a product that is organic. If we carried a line that was more on the all natural line more people would follow threw with the at home care. Is there anything you can send me with information on all the products and the ingredients of them? Thanks Mindy
Mar. 19, 2011 by Mindy Patterson, Vermont
Dear Mindy,
You may view individual product ingredients online at www.repechage.com. Repêchage uses freshly harvested seaweed from the Brittany Coast of France. Seaweed harvesting in France is strictly regulated by the French government ensuring protection and renewability of this natural resource. In addition, the list of ECO CERT ingredients that we are using in our products is growing everyday. Many of our seaweeds are already certified and we are making an effort to continue to use ECO CERT ingredients. Please feel free to contact our main headquarters directly should you have further questions 1-800-248-SKIN.

Hello Lydia~ I am very interested in your products for I am 52 yrs. young and my skin is changing rapidly! I have noticed since turning 50, menopausal skin, sagging, wrinkles but what really bothers me is the marionette lines (smile Lines). Yes I am a smiler! What do you suggest? Do you have the availabilty to send samples so I am try? Thank You! :)
Feb. 25, 2011
Dear Rebecca,

During menopause, estrogen levels tend to decrease causing the changes in skin thickness and moisture content that you are experiencing. Once of my favorite products is the Repêchage Vita Cura Triple Firming Cream. I recommend applying this cream to your neck and face twice daily for the best results. What is incredible about this cream is that it contains Red Clover, which is known to mimic phytoestrogen hormones that stimulate skin thickness for the appearance of younger, plumper looking skin. It is actually able to trick your skin into thinking it’s younger! In addition, powerful pentapeptides and biopeptides from seaweed work to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while helping to boosting collagen.

Call our toll free number to request a product sample at 1-800-248-SKIN!

I hope I was able to answer all of your questions, thank you for writing!

Hello Ms Lydia, I recently graduated from Tricoci University for Esthetics program and I am taking the board for licensing this October. I am familiar with Repechage products because we use them for the treatments in our school. Can I purchase some products as a professional or do I need to wait and pass the board. Which I believed I have the ability to pass the board. Thank you for your immediate response. Paula

Hello, I have been using Repechage since 2001, My question is : what is the difference between Vita Cura Facial and The 4 Layer Facial for a mature skin? It seems like they are both giving the same results, so how should I promote the VC5 since it is more expensive? Thank you
Nov. 9, 2010 by Daria Malska, Illinois
Dear Daria,

Though it seems there are some similarities between the Repechage Vita Cure 5 Phase Firming Facial and The Repechage Four Layer Facial, the science, technology, and results are two totally different things.

The Four Layer Facial was designed for the needs of all skin types (with the exception of acne vulgaris and active rosacea). This treatment comes in two formulas: one for dry skin and one for oily skin. The Four Layer Facial can be customized for you client’s needs such as granular or chemical exfoliation and/or the use of extractions. The Four Layer Facial may also be used with or without the use of machines. This facial uses 2 different seaweeds rich in anti-oxidants, vitamins, and minerals to help nourish, hydrate rejuvenate the skin. The last “layer” of The Four Layer Facial is a thermal mineral mask. This mask heats up and aids in the penetration of the 3 previous layers.

The Vita Cura 5 Phase Firming Facial was designed as an alternative to surgical rejuvenation. This treatment was specifically designed to invigorate, lift and firm mature skin. Proven ingredients that provide and instant trigger to younger looking skin.
This facial includes an Enzyatic Micropeel that works by digesting the dead surface proteins to uncover a more vibrant complexion.
A Cell Renewal Serum to repair and prevent DNA damage, and massage with the Triple Firming Cream that uses patented Peptide technology and seaweed to stimulate collagen production and prevent the breakdown of elastin.
The treatment then includes the application of a firming Spirulina Seaweed mask and finished with our Opti Lift Serum that instantly lifts out fine lines and wrinkles, giving instant results and long term benefits.
There are no machines used during the VC5 and extractions are not recommended.

No treatment is better than the other, it is up to you and your clients needs. Both are extremely enjoyable and results oriented.

Don’t forget to upgrade your clients with The Repechage Opti-Firm Eye Contour Treatment designed for dark circles, fine lines and wrinkles. A perfect addition to any service.
